The Woman Behind Lashaya

The founder of Lashaya is an Ayurvedic doctor who dedicated over 15 years to postmarketing safety pharmacovigilance — a field grounded in corporate precision, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to human wellbeing.

Her work was never just a job; it was something she genuinely cared about. She dedicated many important years to it, learning the value of discipline, accuracy, and responsibility along the way.

But alongside her medical career, she observed something deeply personal.

She saw corporate life closely.
She saw women balancing demanding jobs, homes, relationships, expectations — constantly showing up for everyone else.

And somewhere in between meetings and responsibilities, she noticed something subtle yet powerful: 
Many women forgot to show up for themselves.

Her own sense of style — always appreciated by friends, family, and colleagues — was never about trends. It was about dignity. About feeling put-together. About self-respect.

And slowly, a thought began to take shape:

Every woman deserves ensembles that make her feel confident, comfortable, and quietly powerful — without compromise.

That thought became Lashaya.

We curate Indian weaves — Assam Silk, Mul Cotton, Linen, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Cotton Silk and many such variety of pieces that drape effortlessly and feel as beautiful as they look. We want to make sarees common again — something you can wear to work or every day and not just for special events.

Lashaya source simple, elegant sarees that women love to wear again and again — easy, flattering and perfect for everyday celebrations.

Our collections are intentionally priced between ₹1500 – ₹5000, so that they feel attainable, wearable, and real for every woman.
