Return & Exchange Policy
Return & Exchange Policy at Lashaya is as follows. We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our sarees. Each piece is curated and undergoes rigorous quality checks before dispatch.
A product is eligible for exchange only if it meets one of the following criteria:
- Manufacturing Defect: The saree has a verifiable flaw in weaving, printing, or embellishment that was present at the time of delivery.
- Transit Damage: The item arrived physically damaged due to shipping and handling.

List of issues not considered a defect is as follows:
- Dye ‘bleeding’ onto the pallu from the body OR around the patterns – this is common in power loom sarees.
- Mismatch colour– We understand, colours can be subjective. We try to capture the truest colors of the saree. However, the colors may appear different on different devices due to individual device settings. When in doubt, it is advisable you check with our team regarding the color or any other questions you may have about the product.
- The small knots or bumps in threads occur are sometimes seen when broken threads are pieced together. This is not considered a defect.
- The uneven threads connecting the border to the body are not considered defects.
- Minute gaps in and around motifs.
- Immediate Notification: Send an email to Lashayastore@outlook.com or contact/WhatsApp us on 7208254101, within 24-hours of discovering the issue. We are available from Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST.
- Mandatory Proof (Photos/Video): Attach clear photographs of the damaged/defective area(s). We strongly recommend capturing an unboxing video as proof of transit damage, which helps us process claims with our logistics partners efficiently. Claims without sufficient visual proof may be rejected.
- Original Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and all original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and returned with the product.
If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

- Our quality control team will review the evidence to verify the damage/defect.
- If the claim is approved, you will be notified to select the exchange item. Please note you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

Upon receiving the returned item at our facility and completing a final physical inspection:
- We will offer an exchange for the exact same product (if available in stock) or
- We can offer an exchange for an item of equal value or more. Please note that we do not allow cash refunds on price differences during an exchange.
No return/exchange possible when:
- Request for exchange beyond the 24-hours reporting window.
- Products damaged due to customer use, misuse, improper handling, or washing.
- Sarees where the blouse piece has been cut or detached (unless it is sold as a separate piece along with the saree).
- Sarees that have undergone fall and hemming.
- Items without original tags or packaging.
- Products with minor variations in color or design that are inherent to handcrafted items.
- Sale items or gift cards item.
Return/Exchange
The decision to accept or reject a return lies solely with Lashayastore. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. We will let you know if the exchange is approved or not. If approved, you will be informed to select the exchange item. Exchanges may be made for items of equal or greater value. If a lower-priced item is selected, the price difference is non-refundable. Exchange will be initiated within 10 business days. It is a humble request to review your order details (items purchased, delivery information, contact number, etc), carefully before checkout, as cancellations are not possible once the order is placed.
